Carmine's Italian Restaurant opened in the fall of 2009 in the Village Plaza shopping center on Jefferson Boulevard, in Smithsburg, MD. Carmine's is
a family owned and operated restaurant offering fine Italian cuisine as well as pizzas, subs, and wraps.
Chef Carmine Schiano Moriello came to the U.S. from Naples in 1983 and served as chef in restaurants around Maryland and New Jersey before deciding to open his own restaurant in his home town of Smithsburg.
